Tokyo, Private Day Tour

Tokyo Highlights, Family Pace

Asakusa's temple and market streets, a playground break at Ueno Park, and Tokyo Skytree, worked into one unhurried day instead of a checklist.

10 hours Up to 5 people Best for ages 3–12
Overview

What this day is built around

This is our starting itinerary for a Tokyo day with kids in the group. It leans on two of the city's most reliable family stops (Asakusa and Ueno Park) and leaves room to swap in or drop things once we know the ages and nap schedule involved. Nothing below is fixed until you tell us who's coming.

Where We'll Meet

Pickup is from your hotel or accommodation anywhere in central Tokyo. Your driver-guide will confirm the exact time and meeting point by WhatsApp or email the day before.

Drop-off is flexible: back to your hotel, or to a train station or restaurant if you'd rather end the day out.

What You'll Do

A sample run of the day

  1. 1
    Morning

    Sensō-ji & Asakusa's market streets

Tokyo's oldest temple, its five-story pagoda, and Nakamise-dori's snack stalls leading up to it. Wide, mostly flat walkways make this an easy first stop with a stroller or antsy legs.

  2. 2
    Late Morning

    Playground break at Ueno Park

A proper break, not a rushed one. Ueno Park's playground sits right beside Shinobazu Pond's swan boats, with Ueno Zoo's entrance a few minutes' walk away if there's time and appetite for it.

  3. 3
    Midday

    Lunch, on your schedule

We build in a real lunch window rather than squeezing it between stops. Your driver-guide can point you to family-friendly places nearby, or work around a napping toddler in the car.

  4. 4
    Afternoon

    Tokyo Skytree

The observation deck for a different view of the city, timed for after nap and after the crowds thin out a little. This stop is easy to shorten or skip for younger kids who've had enough walking.

  5. 5
    Late Afternoon

    Buffer time & return

We leave the last stretch of the day loose on purpose. If everyone's still got energy, we can add a stop; if not, it's a calm ride back to your hotel.
